My positives: The organization and rules are so greatly appreciated. The company seems like it is well taught and run. Costumes are gorgeous. Activities are planned to support a team feel and bonding.
My negatives: very rigid with class uniforms. No hip hop.
My not sures yet: we still aren't accepted. My daughter feels left out and sad. She has made comments about being in the back even though she knows she is dancing better than some in the front. She said she could be with friends and have a solo and just be in the back for 2 classes at her old school. This is where I point out the need to prove her skills and that we knew it being the new kid was hard. It does sometimes feel we are having to pay for coming from our old school and that they wish we weren't there. Just a feeling every now and then. We'll see how that all goes after a bit more time.
Sticking to the plan. Patience. We'll see what happens next season. It has to get better.
